TV’s Jonty Hearnden is our star Dove Ball auctioneer

TV art and antiques expert Jonty Hearnden will be our star auctioneer at our annual glamorous Dove Ball at the elegant Oatlands Park Hotel in Weybridge on Saturday 11 November.

Jonty, a familiar face on screen from Cash in the Attic, Celebrity Cash in the Attic, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth is and the Antiques Roadshow, will also be contributing some of his own electic artwork to the auction, giving our guests the opportunity to bid for pieces which are truly special and from limited collections.

Jonty said, ‘I am very pleased to be invited to work with Woking & Sam Beare Hospices on this prestigious event as the work they do is so important to so many people at a key time in their lives. My collection includes works by many artists including Tracey Emin, Salvador Dali, Henri Matisse, Banksy and Pablo Picasso, so there is something there to suit everyone’s taste. I love seeing people take the opportunity to own some art that they fall in love with which they might never otherwise have thought they could buy, and I hope to raise lots of money for the hospice in the process!’

Chief Executive Jayne Cooper said. ‘We are delighted to have Jonty’s expertise and support for our auction. His wonderful signed modern and contemporary art and lithographs will add a special element to our auction prizes, and his infectious enthusiasm will undoubtedly encourage our guests to up their bids in aid of our charity.’

Limited Early Bird tickets for the Dove Ball are available until Friday 6 October at a special price of £99 per guest, or tables for parties of 10 are available for £950.
