Lottery Bumper Draw winners announced

Woking & Sam Beare Hospices have announced the lucky winners of their Lottery Bumper Draw. The first prize jackpot of £2016 was scooped by a supporter in Ripley, whilst supporters from Woking, Addlestone, Sunbury and Liss were announced as the 4 other winners getting their hands on between £50 and £500.

Kelly Newell and Carole Miles of the Lottery and Raffles Team at the Hospices were proud and ready to hand over the cheques after the lucky winners had all been contacted. Lottery and Raffles Manager Kelly Newell said “A big thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and helped us raise those all important funds for our Hospices, we’re delighted that so many have decided to support us as all profits go directly to fund our patient care. Over 29,000 tickets were sold and along with some very generous donations, they helped us raise over £25,000, which will go towards our annual running costs of £8.8 million.”

If you would like a chance to win a cash prize, why not take part in the our weekly lottery? For a £1 weekly stake there is the opportunity to win the top prize of £1000 plus a further 24 cash prizes, giving considerably higher odds than the National Lottery whilst helping to make a real difference to the local community.
