Bobby returns for 7th year in a row
Raising money for the Hospices, stand up comedian Bobby Davro is set to return to the New Victoria Theatre in Woking for his 7th Annual Comedy Gala on Sunday 9th October at 7pm. In advance of the show, he paid his regular visit to Woking Hospice to say hello to patients and some of their relatives in Day Care as well as taking a tour of the ward.
A natural with fans, he brightened the days of all at the Hospices by cracking jokes and posing for photos, with hugs and kisses on the cheek for all.
Since his mother passed away at the Hospices, Bobby has been a steadfast advocate of the work of the charity, and puts on a show every 18 months to raise money for us.
He speaks about his connection to the Hospices, saying: “my mother was so lucky to have been cared for at Sam Beare and this show is the least I can do to say thank you to the Hospices. I’m proud to be supporting them.”
Another star-studded line up is being confirmed over the coming weeks. So far on the hand-bill is Jim Davidson, Jeremy Kyle, Elio Pace as Billy Joel, Impressionist, Danny Posthill, Tom Binns back by popular demand, this year as the Psychic Ian D’ Montfort, Phil Butler, painting with lights, Comedian John Moloney, Acapella group The Magnets and a big music act to be announced.
