- Currently our greatest need is in our retail shops – it’s a great way to start your volunteer service with us as our shops are a key element to raising much needed funds for the hospice.
A retail role is varied and it will include sorting donations, recording gift aid, preparing stock for sale, meeting customers, staffing the till, ensuring the shop floor is clean tidy and neat. Finally lots of tea !
Retail roles generally are 9 am-1 pm or 1 pm-5 pm with slightly shorter hours on a Sunday. We can at times have flexibility around the exact hours you volunteer.
We do take Duke of Edinburgh volunteers in our retail outlet – however you must be 16 or older and able to commit to a minimum of two hours per week.
Our shops are throughout North Surrey, click here for the full list and if you are interested you can pop into your local shop speak to the manager/assistant manager to find out more about the role and vacancies. Our shops have application forms or you can download the application form below and the shop manager will arrange a formal interview.
