Siân is an Executive Nurse, an experienced Board and Non-Executive Board Director in Health and Social Care for children and adults with over 34 years of NHS, Independent and third sector experience.
She is passionate about ensuring the delivery of high quality care, she is warm and compassionate and ensures every patient is front and centre.
She has extensive leadership, clinical, safeguarding, risk, and governance experience. Her experience in leading within large national providers, service transformation with high growth across the sector, her understanding of integration and commissioning within a national and international footprint means that she brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the Board. She contributed to the Hospice UK’s first national guidance and publication of Care after death guidance for staff and is passionate about the delivery of high quality end of life care. She has been a trustee at Woking and Sam Beare since April 2015.
Siân continues to work independently as an Executive leader and industry expert to the Independent, NHS and Third Sector. In addition to holding an Independent Non-Executive Director role in a large social enterprise across three local authorities focusing on an integrated model of care for children and young people.
In her spare time, she enjoys a busy family life, walking in the Brecon Beacons and singing.
