Marketing and Retail Director
Kerry has over 20 years’ experience working in the charity and public sectors as a marketing and communications professional. Before joining the Hospice in November 2016 she had been a marketing and brand consultant for national young person’s charity Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.
Following the completion of a BSc Hons Degree in Human Biology form King’s College University of London and obtaining a First for her dissertation on the genetics and neurology of dyslexia, Kerry began her career at a national dyslexia charity as a press officer. Positions held have included being the Head of Marketing and Communications, Communications and Policy Manager and Head of Public Relations for a number of national charities and Science Communications Manager for LGC Group [formerly the Laboratory of the Government Chemist].
Kerry’s experience over the years has included working in education policy, science communications and the full marketing and communications mix from traditional PR to digital marketing and ecommerce across a number of different charities.
Kerry heads up the Marketing Department and took over as the lead for the Hospice’s Retail Division in January 2020.
