Volunteers are an integral part of our team and quite simply without the time and the skills they provide we cannot continue to deliver care to our patients, their families and carers.
Most roles require a regular commitment, usually a minimum of 3-4 hours, but many of our volunteers give much more of their time.
All volunteer roles involve completing a simple application form and we also require two references. Some roles also require either a criminal records check through either DBS or Disclosure Scotland.
If you want to help us on a more ad-hoc basis why not volunteer at our hospice events? We need support holding collection buckets, engaging with the public and ensuring the safe enjoyment of those taking part. You can see all our Volunteering Opportunities here.
Maybe you have something completely different to offer? Perhaps you have a passion for flowers, a flair for photography or a knack for DIY and you would like to approach us to see if we can use your unique talents?
We look forward to meeting you!
Please note, all applicants must be over 16
