Please help us deliver another year of exceptional care

In 2017 we cared for over 1,400 patients and their familes. Will you help us do the same in 2018?

Last year was a very busy year for us here at the hospice. In May we moved into our beautiful new 20 bedroom home in Goldsworth Park, Woking, providing the highest standard of end of life care to people from across Surrey. In December we welcomed HRH The Countess of Wessex GCVO, who officially opened our new building and spent the morning with patients and their familes. A great day for us all, and a day that would not have come about without the generosity and kindness of our supporters.

Of course, along with all these new developments, staff have been continuing to care for people from the local community. Last year we cared for over 1,400 patients and their families and delivered over 8,760 hours of care. Will you help us do the same in 2018?

You can read about the care we provide on page 3 in this leaflet, which tells the story of Jody and Katy Evans, whose dad Keith, passed away in the hospice, in July last year.

We can't provide our services without donations from our supporters, and we hope you will consider giving a gift today, so that we can ensure 2018 is another successful year for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices. We are a charity and 80% of our income comes from generous supporters like you.

We are so proud of what we've achieved in 2017. Please help us to continue to deliver exceptional care to our patients and their families across Surrey in 2018.

Thank you for your support.
