Payroll Giving

How it works

Payroll giving, also known as workplace giving or Give As You Earn is an easy way to support Woking & Sam Beare Hospices. Your gift is deducted from your account automatically each month from your Gross salary, before you pay tax (after National Insurance but before tax). Which means the tax you would have paid on your donation is also given to the hospice.

There is no limit on the size of your gift and below are a few examples

Regular gifts like this allow us to plan ahead, budget effectively and reduce administration costs and your donation will be used to help our patients and their families through desperately difficult times and by giving regularly, you really are making a bigger difference in our local community.

How to set this up

Employees can ask their payroll department whether they offer a Payroll Giving scheme. If so, they will provide you with a form you will need to complete. Your employer will then pass the form of you a Payroll Giving Agency who will distribute your gift to us
