Please help us deliver another year of exceptional care

Your gift will help us continue delivering exceptional care in our local community

We are delighted to be celebrating our first year in our new hospice building in Goldsworth Park. This exceptional facility lies at the heart of our community. It includes the Bradbury Wellbeing Centre for our day-patients, a 20-bed in-patient ward and our café, which is open to the public.

Our dedicated team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Counsellors continue to provide vital care and support to patients, and those closest to them, in what is a very precious and difficult time in their lives.

Our care however, is not just restricted to the hospice. We know from experience that the majority of our patients wish to remain in their own home, so over 70% of our care is delivered in patient homes.

It is a privilege to be able to provide a free of charge service to all of our patients when they need us the most. Can you help us continue to deliver this care by giving a gift today?

In our latest leaflet you will find accounts from Clinical Nurse Specialist Virginia Marsh-Bowen and Jan, the wife of Malcolm who was a patient in our care and was looked after by Virginia. In their own words, Virginia gives an insight into her role and Jan talks about not only what Woking & Sam Beare Hospices means to her but why she continues to support and use our services.

Your support really can make a difference. Any gift enables us to continue to deliver our care and support across North West Surrey, funding our Community Teams, our 20 bedrooms on the Ward and Bradbury Wellbeing Centre. We are a charity and over 80% of our income comes from generous supporters like yourself and we hope you will consider giving a gift today, so that we can ensure 2018 is another successful year for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.

Thank you for your support.
