On behalf of all our staff and our patients too, thank you so much for supporting your local hospice charity and enabling us to deliver end of life and palliative care across North West Surrey.

We are very grateful to everyone who has been able to continue to support us during 2020 and the Corona virus pandemic. Read on for messages from members of our various teams across the Hospice.

Thank you messages from our staff

Dr Eleni Tsiompanou, Palliative Care Specialist:

"Thanks to your generous spirit we continue to be able to provide our services and support at a crucial time in people's lives and after, when they are grieving the loss of a loved one. We are really grateful for all your contributions, whether through donations, taking part in our events or playing the Hospice Lottery and we wish you and your family a happy and harmonious Christmas."

Laura, Ward Sister:

"We could not continue to care for our patients and their loved ones without your support and we are grateful for every single penny donated or fundraised during the many challenging months of 2020. Our patients are at the heart of everything we do and it's our privilege to continue to care for those needing us most during these unprecedented times thanks to your generosity. Thank you and a happy peaceful Christmas to you all.

Carole Miles, Lottery Manager:

"As a charity we rely heavily on fundraising to help us raise the money needed to deliver our vital care to some of the most vulnerable people in our local community. In 2020 we had to cancel all our physical fundraising  events when the Corona pandemic hit and our hospice lottery became one of the few ways we could continue to raise money online and secure our care. I want to thank every one who supports our hospice lottery. All profits go to patient care and it's amazing how big a difference a £1 ticket can make."

From everyone here at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care, thank you very much for supporting our care and patients.

We wish you and your loved ones a happy Christmas and a safe start to the New Year.
