As part of the opening celebrations of the new facilities, St. Andrew’s School invited some of their past pupils to perform in the new Little Field Theatre to celebrate the talents of St. Andrew’s musicians over the last 10-20 years. The musical performances ranged from whole group performances to individual solo pieces together with wind and vocal ensembles.
St Andrews choose Woking & Sam Beare Hospices as their chosen charity for the event and our Chairman Tim Stokes attended on behalf of the hospice to accept a cheque for £1,500
Mr Adrian Perks, Headmaster at St. Andrew’s, commented: “It was truly wonderful to see and hear so many of our past pupils perform in this very special concert. We feel very privileged that so many of our alumni were keen to give up their time to perform in our new theatre and to help us raise much-needed funds for Woking Hospice. Our thanks go to everyone who performed and to our enthusiastic audience for their generosity in raising so much for such a worthwhile charity.”
