We are delighted to announce that the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices Tree of Life sculpture has a new temporary home in the side garden of Woking Hospice.
Originally there were two trees – one in the garden of Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge and one at the old Woking Hospice in Hill View Road.
Since moving to the new hospice last year we have been working towards finding a permanent home for both the trees.
The tree will eventually be relocated to its permanent home in the Memory Garden once the garden design and location has been finalised.
The tree is a focal point for remembering loved ones and has been positioned so that family and friends can easily read and reflect on the messages and dedications that will be engraved onto the leaves entwined in the tree.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Victoria Square (Woking) Project Team, especially their Works Manager, Eddie Gearing, who generously provided the labour and the materials to construct the frame for the Tree of Life” commented Jayne Cooper CEO “Their support has been invaluable in getting the project to this stage.”
If you would like to find out how you can dedicate a leaf to a loved one on the Tree of Life you can find our more information here.
