Woking & Sam Beare Hospices delivers specialist palliative care to people who have advanced life-limiting conditions and provides support to their families and carers. Covering six Surrey boroughs 70% of the care is provided in patients own homes alongside the new hospice in Woking. All our services are provided free of charge and for every £5 of costs incurred we need to raise £4 from voluntary income. Our 18 charity shops across Surrey are an integral part of providing this income along with our lottery and raffles.
We currently have over 800 volunteers working for the hospice all of who are invaluable to us continuing to provide our care, if you are interested in volunteering find out more here
