The sun was shining and we had a fantastic Easter weekend of fundraising fun.
On Sunday we were at the beautiful Dunsborough Park gardens in Ripley running a Tea Tent, serving a delicious range of home made cakes that were kindly donated by our Staff and Volunteers. The gardens looked stunning and we raised over £700 for the hospices.
On Monday we held our first ever Easter Egg Hunt at the Ottershaw Memorial Fields. The hunt took place around Homewood park run route where children and adults enjoyed searching for the Easter pictures and finding their eggs to collect along the way. Refreshments were provided by Oink London who served the amazing hot cross bun bacon butty which our staff are still raving about.
By attending and supporting us at events like these you are helping us to provide our care to over 2,000 patients and their families each year. Quite simply without the generosity and support from our local communities we cannot continue to deliver this care. So a huge thank you to all who attended and to our amazing volunteers who give up their time to help run these community events.
We would also like to thank ADP, Reed HR Epsom and M&S Brooklands who all kindly donated Easter Eggs.
