NEW EXCITING OPPORTUNITY for an experienced retailer to set up and run a brand new stunning shop close to the new development in Egham High Street.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for retail and is an environmentally conscious fashionista. Excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we represent in our retail teams and you will be part of a team who is inspirational in its approach to working with our volunteers and customers.

You will enjoy working in a large busy shop, being active on the sales floor, possess selling skills and relish interacting with customers and volunteers. You will also have a detailed eye with very strong visual skills for identifying the value potential of donated items.

You will be responsible for the overall running of the shop, which includes staffing (inclusive of volunteers) to maintain trading hours, managing donation and goods in, stock rotation, pricing and Gift Aid contribution. The overall objective is to maximize income for the Hospice. As a result you will work closely with the Marketing and Fundraising teams on promotions and other collaborations.

Meeting all safety standards within the shop forms an important part of the role and this includes ensuring all your staff and volunteers follow all Health & Safety best practice procedures and are compliant with all mandatory training.

Woking and Sam Beare Hospice raises money to support people living through the challenges of life-limiting and terminal illnesses in North West Surrey – 80% of our care is at home in the local community. This is a very rewarding role that can really make a difference.

This post is subject to the successful completion of acquiring a new property and therefore any offer of employment will be subject to this.

The Egham shop is easily commutable from surrounding areas. This is a 37.5 hours per week position which includes weekend working on a rotational basis.

Be a part of something meaningful, support a local community charity and join our team at our shop in the heart of thriving Egham town.
