An exciting opportunity to join Woking & Sam Beare Hospice’s team as a Catering Manager / Chef. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person who will be responsible for the efficient running of the Hospice’s kitchen and leading the team to success.

You will be responsible for delivering a high quality service to patients, staff and patient visitors. Your responsibilities will range from managing the menu for our onsite Café (which serves food and snacks to patients and their visitors and in more “normal” times to the general public when the café reopens fully) to preparing exciting menus for our in-house patients. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and who will bring passion and creativity to our kitchen. Experience in catering is essential.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop our onsite Café and serve high quality meals to patients.

The Catering Manager / Chef will roster and supervise Kitchen. Working hours are typically 37.5 per week. The kitchen is open 7am to 6pm and you will work in shifts. Additional payment is made for working weekends and bank holidays (enhancements).
