Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is a patient-centred charity based in Surrey committed to providing the best in specialist palliative care. We cover the North West Surrey region, providing free of charge holistic care and support services for patients, their families and carers. This is an exciting time for us as we are now in our new Hospice in Goldsworth Park, Woking.
The role exists to generate Community Fundraising income. The role will be up to 18 hours per week and will be based at Woking Hospice with frequent travel within the region of North West Surrey to support fundraising activities and events, therefore you will need access to a car. The role will include occasional weekend and evening working.
This is an exciting but demanding role and you will need to demonstrate a professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills; have the ability to liaise effectively and establish good working relationships and be computer literate. Ideally it would be great if you have some community fundraising experience, however most important of all we are looking for people with the transferable skills needed to help us to generate funds through our local communities.
