• To lead the High Value Partnerships team, overseeing delivery against the corporate, trusts and foundation and major donor income targets for the capital appeal and for revenue funding.
• This role requires the ability to network effectively and identify opportunities to make lucrative connections and action them. It also requires a high level of tact and diplomacy and the ability to influence at a senior level. This post holder will need to act with empathy when working with donors who have experienced directly our services, and remain discreet, retaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
There will be two main financial targets that this role will work towards achieving, for the Capital Appeal and for Revenue funding.
Capital Appeal Fundraising
To work with and support the Director of Fundraising and the Capital Appeal Events Manager on delivery of the Capital Appeal as we look to achieve our final target of £3.4M (currently at £2.6M). This will also involve working with colleagues within the High Value Partnerships team to secure funding from major donors, trusts and corporates.
• To lead on securing major gifts for the Capital Appeal against the set target.
• To manage the Corporate Fundraising Manager to deliver Corporate Capital appeal income against the set target.
The High Value Partnerships Manager will directly line manage the Corporate Fundraising Manager and the Trusts and Grants Manager to support them in the achievement of their financial targets whilst directly leading on securing major gifts to fund the on-going running costs and any new projects delivered by the hospice.
