The Swimathon is a fun event organised by the Rotary Club of Woking, to raise money for local charitable causes.
This year’s charities are: Surrey Search & Rescue, Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, SERV (Blood Runners), other local charities supported by Rotary Club of Woking Benevolent Fund (“RCWBF”).
The Swimathon is open to teams of up to six swimmers, who will swim for a total of 55 minutes between them. Each swimmer will take turns to swim one length at a time.
Teams will have lots of fun trying to swim as many lengths as possible whilst raising as much sponsorship as they can.
Each swimmer will be awarded with a medal and any confident swimmer who is at least 8 years old can take part.
