The Royal Holloway University’s Founder Choir presents a charity concert in aid of Woking & Sam Beare Hospices
Following the success of 2016, the Founder’s Choir are once again teaming up with Woking & Sam Beare Hospices for a concert to support their work.
The concert will feature a world premiere by Caleb J. Rowan, the winner of the choir’s Shakespeare composition competition. Rowan’s work, The Seven Ages will appear alongside a choral cycle (A procession winding around me) by American composer Jeffrey Van for choir and guitar.
The concert will take place in the college chapel on Saturday 17th March 2018, at 7.30pm.
Tickets for this fabulous event are FREE and are available online here
All donations made on the night will go directly to the hospice.
More about the choir:
The Founder’s Choir (formerly the Chamber Choir) is a group of around 30 singers who meet weekly during term in order to prepare for two to three concerts and sing occasional Sunday evening services in the College Chapel. The choir also sings one of the College’s popular Christmas Carol Services and, most years, will undertake a European tour.
