Canines on the Common

08 July

10:30 am - 4:00 pm

We are delighted to be working with the Horsell Common Preservation Society to plan a new two-day event for you and your dogs.

Join us at Heather Farm on Horsell Common, Woking,  by the Water’s Edge Café on either (or both!) Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July.

Come along at any time which suits you and your four-legged best friends between 10.30am and 4pm.

Take part in a 3k sponsored dog walk with clues and treats, and enjoy lots of doggy-themed activities, advice. demonstrations and stalls.

This fantastic venue was developed with dogs in mind, and offers great facilities for dog walkers with a large car park at the start of a dedicated and safely enclosed area for dogs. When you return from your walk you can take advantage of the dog washing facilities, dog parking areas and the dog-friendly Water’s Edge café.

Our hospice has to raise almost £9 million each year to provide  free end-of-life care to some 1,400 people across North West Surrey and their families. You and your dog can make a direct difference to local families at a vital time – that’s got to be something to wag your tail about!

Entry will be £5 per dog, with a suggested sponsorship target of £20 per canine.

We will announce further details soon about how to register for this event so please make a note in your diary and watch this space………you’d be barking mad to miss it!

We have also  hospice places available to book now on the Mercer Surrey Half Marathon, the Weybridge 10k, our Dragon Boat Races and many more events.

SPECIAL OFFER – To secure your place with the hospice, from 1 to 7 March registration for the Mercer Surrey Half Marathon, is £50 with no sponsorship target!
