Go on a trip of a lifetime to the Arctic all in aid of Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
The perfect antidote to a cold, wet British winter is a cold, dry Arctic adventure!
Replace the British winter with a Scandinavian wilderness away from the crowds and enjoy mesmerisingly peaceful scenes of frozen lakes and snow-covered pine and spruce forests.
You’ll be cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and husky-sledding, pushing yourself in this harsh but compelling environment. Back at the log cabin, you can relax in the sauna and watch the night skies for the captivating dance of the Northern Lights. There are two dates available for joining this 5 day excursion which are:
- Saturday 12 January 2019
- Saturday 9 March 2019
If you would like to take part on one of the selected dates please see the itinerary for the adventure here.
This trip is all organised by Discover Adventure who specialises in worldwide cycling and trekking, with charity fundraising at its heart. Behind their challenging and often life-changing trips is a dedicated team of friendly staff and experienced leaders: people who are passionate about the outdoors and exploring the world, and get a buzz from helping others push their limits and achieve goals.
Why not do this amazing trip of a lifetime instead of gifts this Christmas and ask for funds and people to donate to our hospice to help us carry on caring for around 2,000 patients a year.
To register please visit the Discover Adventure website here.
