We are nearly there
Our Capital Appeal to raise £3.4m is now in the final straight
In November 2015 we started work to build our £9.1m state-of-the-art hospice in Goldsworth Park, Woking and we were able to welcome our first patients into the hospice in Spring 2017.
Thanks to a loan from Woking Borough Council, and the incredible generosity of individuals, groups and organisations we have just £800k left to raise.
The opening of our new hospice has been a huge milestone. As well as providing 20 beds for patients with life limiting illnesses in North West Surrey, the new building also provides facilities for the 70% of our patients who are cared for in the community and in their own homes. The Bradbury Wellbeing Centre provides outpatient treatments and therapies and a valuable support framework for patients and their carers. The Walter Deakin Spa Bathroom provides facilities for outpatients to have a relaxing bath in comfortable surroundings.
These facilities provide the foundations for us to realise our five year strategy vision to reach previously underrepresented groups and establish ourselves as a centre of excellence.
We need your help to get us over the finish line and reach our fundraising target and there are several ways that you can get involved.
