    Carole Miles

    I am the Lottery and Raffles Manager. Together with a small team of staff and volunteers I facilitate the weekly lottery and annual raffles.

    After having experienced first-hand the wonderful work carried out by the Hospice I started volunteering in 2013 in one of the Book Shops. Later that year I joined as a member of staff working with the fundraising team as Car Raffle & Lottery administrator. During this time I had the privilege of working with a fabulous group of volunteers taking the car raffle out into the community.

    The highlight of every week is the phone call to the lottery player who has won first prize to congratulate them on their £1,000 win.

    I love working for a charity that plays such a significant role in the local community.
