Kerry is a talent management specialist with twenty-two years of senior management and consulting experience. In 2007 Kerry founded a talent solutions consultancy that offers the full spectrum of HR services and she has advised global blue-chip companies on strategic and operational talent management agendas across a broad spectrum of industry sectors.
Kerry sat on the board of the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) between 2004 and 2007 and she was also Chair of the AGR’s Research and Information task group. Kerry remains heavily involved with the (now re-named) Institute of Student Employers and regularly contributes to the latest thinking through the newly formed Research Committee.
Kerry regularly fundraises for the Hospice and several other National charities. She lives locally and is married with children.
Carina has been a Trustee since January 2021.
Carina graduated from the University of Sheffield with a B.A. in Urban Studies, and then a Masters in Economic Geography, Queens University, Canada.
Carina’s career has focused on leading global corporate transformation programmes driving improvements across product, people, operational processes and customer insight. She started her career at PA Consulting in the UK and then moved to New Zealand before joining HSBC Bank plc in both UK and global roles. Since 2017 she has successfully transferred her skills to support charitable organisations including Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, the Prince’s Trust and Trailblazers Mentoring. Carina has been volunteering with the Hospice since 2018.
Carina lives locally and is married with two children.

Nicola has been a Trustee since December 2018.
Nicola is a Managing Director at Barclays Bank in the Savings, Investments & Wealth Division, having been with the Company for more than 28 years. During her career at Barclays she has led, hired, developed and retained senior client-facing investment professionals, driving improvements across product, people, sales processes and technology.
Nicola graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Money, Banking and Finance (B Soc Sci) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute (Dip).
Nicola lives locally and is married with three children.

Susan has been a Trustee since June 2018.
Susan Gent is a qualified solicitor and currently the General Counsel at the Royal Academy of Arts in Piccadilly, London. Susan is a specialist charity and construction lawyer, having started her legal career working for Masons solicitors (now Pinsent Masons) and then progressing to Head of Litigation for London Underground and subsequently Head of Legal for WWF-UK.
Susan is the Chair of Lawyers In Charities, a group of over 300 lawyers working in house in UK registered charities.
Susan has been a supporter of the Hospice for many years and lives in the Elmbridge area with her family.

Tony has been a Trustee since February 2017.
Tony retired in 2015 from a long career spanning nearly 40 years in the retail sector. Tony is a former Marketing Director of Pretty Polly, which won The Institute of Marketing Gold Award three times. He also held senior marketing roles with Burton Retail, Puma UK and Triumph UK and was Managing Director of Gossard and Berlei.
Tony has been a member of the Contour Ball Charity for over five years and Chairman for 2 years, raising money for the Retail Trust and The Textile Industry Children’s Trust. He now acts as a Non-Exec for two clothing companies.
Tony has two children and lives locally with his wife.
Jon has been a Trustee since February 2017.
Jon is a chartered accountant and has lived and worked in Surrey for over 30 years. He has wide experience both as an audit partner and financial director and currently works as a non-exec advisor to several businesses.
Jon was a Director of Surrey Chambers of Commerce from 2009 to 2015 and served as President for 2013 and 2014. Jon is the Chair of the Hospices’ Finance & Sustainability Committee.
