Our Director of Nursing Dr Barry Quinn publishes an article about the role of nursing leadership in providing compassionate care.
In this article, Dr Quinn discusses and explores the concept of leadership for the nursing profession against what is a challenging environment and the backdrop of a constantly changing landscape in the fields of health and social care. The aim of this article is to highlight that each nursing professional has an important role in leadership and it explores the types of leadership and encourages nurses to consider what sort of leadership style they are most suited to.
