Five Year Strategy - 2018-2023

Your care - Your choice - Your way

Everything we do is to ensure that we are able to care for and support as many people with life-limiting illnesses as possible, as well as their carers and families, as we mark the first year in our new state-of-the-art hospice it is time to plan for the future.

Our patients and the wider Surrey community are at the heart of the development of our Five Year Strategy and it sets out the key organisational priorities.

Service Improvement

Being a recognised centre of clinical and medical excellence in specialist palliative and end of life care. To increase our reach through partnerships and collaborative working, to ensure that anyone who needs our services are able to access them easily and at a time they need us.

An embedded robust operational model that is sustainable and offers financial security. We are hugely reliant on voluntary income and a key goal is an income generation strategy that is diversified to enable us to achieve the ambitions of the service goal.

Stakeholder Engagement

We are a central part of the community, providing services for more than 2,000 people each year. Its is vital for the future of the hospice that the community we service are engaged with why we need their ongoing support and generosity.

Every single member of staff and volunteers embody our values and we are who we are because of them. In order to deliver excellent services and to be sustainable long term we regonise the need to invest in our infrastructure and development of our clinical and non-clinical teams.
