Opening up your hospice - it is not what you'd expect

For five consequtive Satursdays from the 16 March to the 13 April, Woking & Sam Beare Hospices opened up their state-of-the-art building in Goldsworth Park, Woking, and invited the local community to come in and find out more about their local charity.

Hourly mini-tours allowed people to see our Bradbury Wellbeing Centre, a bedroom and family room on the Ward and our Education Centre. Staff and volunteers were also on hand to answer questions, there was Easter treats for children, the opportunity to find out more about exciting upcoming community events and refreshments in the cafe.

Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is proud to be a part of the North West Surrey community and our hospice in Goldsworth Park, Woking, is a vibrant, warm and welcoming place. There are often a lot of misconceptions around what a hospice is and so it was our pleasure to invite everyone in to find out more.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come along to to visit us.
