Find out here how you can support this initiative during October

How Make a Will Month works

•    During October, a number of local solicitors in both the Woking and Sam Beare areas are joining with us to encourage people to either write a new Will or update an existing one.  It is a good idea to review your Will every couple of years to ensure that it reflects your wishes for the future.

•    Participating solicitors are cutting the price of any Will initiated (from scratch or updating an existing Will/Codicil) during October by £50 and inviting their clients to make a donation to support the work of Woking Hospice.

•    The amount you donate is entirely your own choice, but we hope you will consider matching the saving extended by the solicitors drawing up your Will.

•    In addition, you might like to consider remembering Woking Hospice or Sam Beare Hospice, Weybridge in your Will.  A wonderful gift that will ensure we can continue to support and care for people who need us in our local community.

Writing a Will is not difficult, time consuming or expensive. It may seem like a dull duty to get your affairs in order, but actually, knowing that friends and relatives will benefit enormously from your foresight is comforting. We can't avoid the inevitable, but we can certainly leave a legacy that lives on after we are gone.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the solicitors who have generously agreed to take part in our first Make a Will Month.
If you would like any further information or have any questions about leaving either Woking Hospice or Sam Beare Hospice a Gift in your Will, please feel free to contact our Legacy Officer, Emma Cartwright e.cartwright@wsbhospices.co.uk  or 01483 881750.
