Tree of Life

Memorytree02 medium CROPPEDRenowned local artist Heather Burrell has made the Tree of Life artworks on display at each of our Hospices. At Woking Hospice it is located in the reception area, whilst at Sam Beare Hospice it has been placed in the garden. Each piece is designed around the theme of Tree of Life and is based on our Olive sprig motif. The leaves on the tree may be sponsored in memory of a loved one and is a lasting memorial providing a tangible sign that you are not alone in your loss.

On your first donation, a specially packaged olive sprig will be provided as a personalised memorial to your loved one. Each keepsake will come with a card that records your message and feelings. Some find comfort in keeping the beautiful keepsake; others find solace in giving them to a close relative. The name of the person you wish to remember will be recorded on a plaque next to the artwork which will be updated every year. You can of course visit the sculpture and this lasting memory as long as you may wish.

IMG_6215 CROPPEDIndividuals, families, companies and other organisations can show their commitment to the future service of our Hospices by sponsoring a part of the Tree of Life.
