“I was honoured to be asked to become more involved with the hospices. I know a lot of people in our community who have called on our local hospice for support. And it’s only when you’ve experienced hospice care first hand that you realise how lucky we are to have such a superlative service available to us, completely free of charge. Woking & Sam Beare Hospices have been doing their utmost for us for nearly twenty years. Now they need our help. I encourage everyone in our local area to respond to their call, so that they can continue to provide the warm and loving care we would want for those who are precious to us.”

“The Woking & Sam Beare Hospices are a great local success story that we can all be very proud of. The demand for their services, which are totally free of charge, is growing – both in-patient and in the community – so your support is needed more than ever.
My mother was the architect for the original Woking Hospice and I remember walking around the building with enormous pride as a school girl. Having witnessed its’ creation, I am now thrilled to be looking to the future and lending my voice to the cause – to ensure it can help many more people for years to come.”

“The Hospices do a phenomenal job supporting patients and their families which is why I am so delighted to help promote their amazing cause and fantastic new project, which will secure hospice care in the local area for generations to come.”

“The Woking & Sam Beare Hospice cared for both my Nan and Grandad. The around the clock care they provided and the warmth with which they treated their patients made their final days so much easier. My Grandad loved every minute he spent in the hospice, it was such a beautiful place for him to find peace and that was all down to the hospitality and sheer kindness of the nurses. Please, I urge anyone and everyone to donate and help raise the money needed for the building works, however large or small it may be, because it may be someone close to you that needs these facilities next, and there really is nowhere better.”
