Squire’s donate Christmas tree to Hospice
Patients and staff were delighted when on Friday 29 November Squire’s in Woking delivered and decorated a beautiful Nordmann Christmas tree, which will spread much joy at the Woking Hospice over the weeks to come.
Squire’s Woking has nominated us as their charity of the year, and this was the first of many initiatives which will show their support over the next 12 months.
George Bishop, Assistant Manager, personally decorated the tree with partly recycled decorations, such as tinsel, and bows made out of wired ribbons, and also added dried flowers for a stylish Victorian feel. “It’s actually the first time I’m out on location decorating a tree a tree like this, but I’m really pleased, and hope it will give some inspiration, as of course all the items used can be purchased at Squire’s.” You can see more photos of the beautiful tree in our Facebook album here.
Customers can from now and until Christmas also support Squire’s in their fundraising efforts for us, in connection with Santa’s weekend visits to his in store grotto. Every child will receive a gift, and in return our bucket collectors will ask for a donation.
