Your new Hospice
In 2014 the decision was made to merge Woking Hospice and Sam Beare Hospice and to build a brand new facility in Goldsworth Park, Woking, Surrey. Building work commenced in November 2015 and the build designs incorporated the blue print and shell of an original office building.
We were officially handed the keys to our new build in March 2017 and while the interiors where completed we started the transition processes over to the new Woking Hospice, while delivering compulsory orientation and training to all staff. The doors to the new Woking Hospice were officially opened to our first in-patients in May 2017 and the offices for our support staff where craned in and completed in August 2017.
