How we help

Woking Hospice and Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge are  more than just buildings – it's a philosophy of care.   We believe that alongside expert medical and nursing care, a person’s practical, emotional, social and spiritual concerns should be cared for as well.

Patients and their families are at the heart of everything we do and everything we seek to achieve. We listen and acknowledge their fears, worries and concerns and respond to the issues that are causing them anxiety.

This highly personal, holistic approach to a person’s care takes time, skill and experience, plus a highly inter-disciplinary approach to resolving problems.
We care for people both in the hospice building and in their own homes, in fact over 70 per cent of our patients are cared for at home. We also have Day care units which many people benefit from attending.

The staff and volunteer helpers are so genuinely caring, they really do care about YOU as an individual and that shows in everything they do.
