The Sam Beare Ball Sparkles…
Our glamorous Sam Beare Ball was held at the prestigious Mercedes-Benz World on May 17th, and raised almost £29,000.
Nearly 200 guests enjoyed live entertainment from the UK’s best Take That tribute band, Fake That, comedian Bobby Davro, and the phenomenal YD dancers, who added a wonderful Vegas vibe to this special night.
The guests were greeted by our Chief Executive Nigel Harding and Director of Income Generation David Jenkins. A champagne reception complete with live music by jazz musician Mark Millington and showgirls, ensured everyone got into the mood, before enjoying their delicious three course dinner, which was served on the first floor with stunning views across the Mercedes circuit.
It was a great evening from the food to the entertainment, and most importantly to the fundraising. “Everyone I spoke to said they had a wonderful night, and thanks to Mercedes-Benz World we’ve once again been able to host it at their fantastic venue, which always adds that extra bit of sparkle,” said Nigel Harding.
Sue Spencer, who organised the Ball added, “personally I’m also very grateful for all the committed and devoted supporters who joined us on the night. We simply couldn’t have done it without them!”
