Take on the Surrey Hills Challenge for the hospice

Woking & Sam Beare Hospices have places available on the five different Surrey Hills Challenge races on Sunday 24 September.

All routes finish at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking but start at different points; all take in the scenery of the beautiful Surrey Hills. The Ultra is a 60k run across varied terrain from Haslemere. The Forty is a 40k run or walk from Witley, including 1272m of climbing. The Half is a 21k run starting at Ewhurst, while the 10k and 5k runs loop around Denbies and can be run as an individual or family event.

The longer routes take in the Greensand Way which follows scenic trails that cut across fields, up and down hills, along ridgeways and woodlands, over Holmbury Hill and Leith Hill (the highest summit in South England), before you finally ascend up onto the North Downs Way.

The Half, 10k and 5k routes also welcome our four-legged friends as they can join you under canicross event rules.

You can enter and fundraise towards the £8.8million it costs Woking & Sam Beare Hospices each year to provide end-of-life care to 1,400 people across North West Surrey, and their families, as follows:
