Take on the Horsell 200

If you have ever wanted to take on a long distance cycling challenge, but thought that you had to wear lycra just to set off… If you have ever wondered if you could cycle 50 miles a day, and enjoy seeing the countryside as well as have a few drinks along the way, then the P4C Horsell 200 Cycle Challenge is for you!

On the 3rd July the group will leave the Cricketers Pub in Horsell to take on 200 miles in 4 days across some of the most breathtaking countryside in the South of England on a circular route – returning on the 6th July. You don’t need to be a fanatical cyclist to do this challenge, enthusiasm and a sense of humour will be far more important!

Hotel accommodation has been pre-booked, and a support vehicle will be in attendance to provide any emergency cover, carry luggage and provide a secure bike lock up for the evening.

To register participants will have to pay £200 to cover the hotel accommodation (based on 2 sharing a twin room), your team cycling shirt, support vehicle and a very natty polo shirt for evening wear. Your food and drink will be the only extra costs.

A team Just Giving fundraising page will be set up, and each team member is expected to raise a minimum of £500 plus gift aid.

Places are strictly limited to 24 entrants, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note, the route may involve some towpaths so is not ideal for high spec racing bikes!

For more information and to sign up please contact Paul Rimmer or Phil Madders. Alternatively call our fundraising team on 01483 881752.
