RSM Domestic Appliances supports our new hospice
A big thank you to Knaphill-based company RSM Domestic Appliances for a donation of seven appliances for use in the family pod areas of our new hospice, worth more than £2,000.
The donation of two dishwashers, a fridge freezer and a larder fridge, each with a one year warranty, is part of RSM’s new Community Support Scheme, which is committed to making a monthly donation of a domestic appliance or services.
RSM Managing Director Steve Haydon said: “I’m delighted that we are able to give our support to Woking Hospice in this way. This donation sets the seal on our commitment to give back to the community through our new Community Support Scheme. The new facility is just fantastic and I hope that by providing this equipment we can help support the families of people receiving care at the hospice.”
Interim CEO and Director of Nursing Jayne Cooper said: ‘We are very grateful to RSM for their generous and thoughtful donation of kitchen equipment for our two family rooms. These rooms will enable families to relax and take a much-needed break when in the hospice supporting their loved ones, whether to make drinks and snacks, watch television, play games or to simply have some quiet time. We wish RSM every success with the Surrey Community Support Scheme and we are delighted to be one of the first recipients.’
