Rare Jam memorabilia up for grabs
A dedicated local Jam fan has donated four rare collector’s items, which will be sold off in a silent auction to raise money for our Hospices. You can bid for a stunning framed mono photograph of Paul Weller, a printer’s proof of The Changing Man book cover signed by the author, a printer’s proof of the Jam Unseen book cover signed by Twink, and superb signed mono photograph of Bruce Foxton. Read more about these unique collector’s items below, and see them on our Facebook page. All bids can be emailed here to our Fundraising Team by the 8th September.
A printer’s proof of the Jam Unseen book cover (by Twink, the band’s official photographer), this proof was printed before the silver foil blocking was applied, so ‘The Jam’ is missing from the front cover. The proof has been kept under wraps since it was signed in April 2007. It measures approx. 1,000 x 270mm and has recently been housed in a great quality black aluminium frame for this auction.
Only three of these proofs exist. The person donating this proof has one signed personally to himself and another was donated to charity a few years back. Signed in silver marker pen “All the Best Twink 29.4.2007”. It’s in superb condition and a very, very rare item.
Not even Twink or the publisher has a copy of one of these!
This has been donated from the same private Jam collection. It’s a printer’s proof of The Changing Man book cover by Paolo Hewitt and is signed by the author. It measures approx. 48.5 x 34.5cm and has recently been housed in a great quality black aluminium frame for this auction.
Again, only two of these signed proofs exist. It’s in superb condition and another very rare item.
