New partnership with Tante Marie announced
World renowned culinary academy, Tante Marie in Woking, hosted a brunch in their restaurant on Tuesday 19th January to announce the beginning of their partnership with the Hospices, having selected us as their new nominated charity.
The event, hosted by Andrew Maxwell, Managing Director and Principal at Tante Marie, was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Woking, Jonathan Lord MP, Councillor John Kingsbury and John-Paul Jackson, Centre Manager at Woking Shopping as well as Hospice staff including our Chief Executive Nigel Harding.
Every two years, Tante Marie consider applications for a new organisation to become their nominated charity. Andrew at Tante Marie commented saying “Supporting local people, through our network of suppliers and professional contacts, is an important foundation for the way we approach our business. Our new relationship with Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is underpinned by this ethos. We are honoured to be able to do our part in raising awareness and funds for the new Hospice thereby supporting the fabulous work that Woking & Sam Beare Hospices do in our community. We look forward to working closely with the Hospices in the future.”
Corporate Fundraiser Anita Avery said “We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Tante Marie in Woking. We are so grateful for their support, Andrew and his team have been amazing to work with and we’re looking forward to putting all our plans into action. It is an exciting time for the Hospices as we near the launch of our Capital Appeal for the new Hospice and the support of Tante Marie during this time will be vital.”
