Festive wrapping fundraiser

The annual Christmas gift wrapping service has returned to The Peacocks Centre in Woking to offer busy shoppers the chance to have their presents professionally wrapped in exchange for a donation to our Hospices.

A talented team of volunteers including Valia Hedley, who has been involved with the festive fundraiser, since it started in 2004, will be on hand every day until Christmas Eve, 11am to 5pm (11am-4pm on Christmas Eve) and until 7pm on Thursdays, to wrap all your special Christmas gifts.

Community Fundraiser Wendy Denty said “We’d like to say thank you to all the volunteers involved and in particular to Valia for helping to organise the event. The gift wrapping service is always very popular and helps to raise much needed funds for the Hospices so we really hope lots of people will come along to use the service and donate generously, to help support our patients and their families over the festive season.”

The gift wrapping service is located on the lower ground in the Foodcourt (turn right as you come down the escalator). All donations will go towards Woking & Sam Beare Hospices so come along and cut out the stress of your gift wrapping this Christmas whilst the team make your gifts look wonderful for you.
