£43,335 raised at Sam Beare Ball
The stars turned out in force to support Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge on Saturday night.
Photos from the night are available from photographer Maureen Mclean on the website below and Sam Beare Hospice will receive 20% of all orders – prices start from just £8.50 so lets try and boost the total raised on the night.
Mercedes-Benz World were proud sponsors of the event, providing the ultra stylish and glamorous venue and Sue Spencer from the Hospice organised a magnificent evening. A fantastic £43,335 was raised as 275 guests enjoyed entertainment from Stacey Solomon who wowed the guests with her amazing voice. Kev Orkian provided his own unique brand of humour and musical talent.
Celebrities included Max Clifford, patron of the Hospice and his wife Jo, Theo Paphitis, Appeals patron and his wife Debbie, Nick Knowles, Michael Underwood and Stella English. They enjoyed a champagne reception while chatting with fellow supporters of the Hospice. Dinner was served on the first floor with stunning views across the Mercedes circuit.
Max commented “It was a great success, from the food to the entertainment and the venue. Everyone I spoke to said what a wonderful night they were having and I’d like to personally thank Sue for all her hard work and putting everything together in such a fantastic fashion. A big thank you to Mercedes-Benz World for their generosity which guaranteed the evening was financially a big success.
Stacey added “ The Sam Beare Hospice Ball was brilliant night and I felt very proud to have been involved in such a worthy cause. I met so many lovely people and was made to feel so welcome by the organisers who are clearly doing such an incredible job. Fingers crossed I get invited back next year.”
