Volunteering
Introduction
Volunteers play an integral part in the life of Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, fulfilling a central role in the hospice's work.
Volunteering is a rewarding experience. Not only do volunteers meet new people and make friends, they also have the chance to serve as part of a dedicated team. Our volunteers contribute many things, but most precious of all is their time.
Woking & Sam Beare Hospices volunteers come from all walks of life and we are proud of the diversity of people supporting every aspect of the Hospices' Services.
More than 800 men and women currently volunteer, but more are always needed to assist with almost every aspect of the hospice's work.
