The 2009 car raffle raises £52,380net!!

The Car Raffle 2009 draw took place at the Peacock's Centre on the 31st October 2009.

The lucky winner of the Honda Jazz car was won by Mr & Mrs Guest of Guildford - ticket number 0105344 . The car was presented at the Trident Honda showroom in Ottershaw this week.

Richard Roberts, Managing Director of Trident Honda presented the car to Chris Guest watched by Stephen Henderson, Commercial Director, Carolyn Guest, and volunteers Maureen Bowler, Karoll Frost, Shirley Frost and Virginia Edwards.

Chris and Carolyn Guest from Fox Corner, Guildford were the delighted winners. They are Hospice supporters and returned their tickets that were sent in the summer mailing. Carolyn said "It was a complete shock when we were contacted by Mary Lacey from the Hospice. I honestly couldn't remember what the first prize was; we were just supporting the cause. It still feels very much like a dream but it's nice to know that someone does actually win!"

The volunteer car raffle team has been out every weekend for the past 7 months and the event has raised an estimated £63,000gross £52,380net for Woking Hospice and Sam Beare Hospice, Weybridge.

Well done to the whole team and everyone that bought a ticket to support our Hospices. We look forward to working with Trident Honda again in 2010.
