Comments & Complaints
Your views are important to us and we welcome and value any comments and suggestions that might help improve our services. A simple idea could make all the difference to the way we care for patients and their families, so please share your thoughts with us via our Contact page.
We strive to provide an excellent quality of care and support to our patients and their relatives, whether supported at home or cared for in our Hospices.
However, we are not complacent and recognise that there may be instances when we may not meet your expectations. Please tell us if this is the case so we can ensure that you get the care you deserve and help improve our services in the future.
You can read more about how to get your message across in our leaflet Your Chance to Comment on our Services, which is also available from our receptions.
All comments and complaints are recorded and fully investigated and when appropriate, action is taken to reduce the likelihood of recurrence. Read more about our complaints procedure here.
If you are a supporter and have any concerns or comments regarding fundraising please share your thoughts through our Contact Page. You can find out more about our approach to fundraising here.
We also like to hear when we are doing something well. So if you have had a good experience and want to compliment a member of staff, you can either talk to them directly, send them a card or fill in one of our comment cards.
We keep all our compliments on display so that we can share the satisfaction of a job well done and individual staff keep copies which can be used for professional revalidation.
All our in-patients and their families are invited to take part in our In-patient Service Evaluation Survey. Questionnaires, comments leaflets and pre-paid return envelops our found on our wards and in each patient rooms information folder.
