Volunteer in retail

Volunteers are a major part of the retail team. They perform a variety of duties within the shops including sorting, pricing, and serving customers.

Volunteers with specialist expertise, for example knowledge about antiques, stamps, books, cameras or designer wear, are welcome to offer their help.

Many people find volunteering an extremely rewarding experience - providing an opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and have fun, while being part of a valued team.

Shop and warehouse volunteers are asked to commit to just one four-hour session a week, and anyone interested should contact Mary Morgan, volunteer Services Manager on 01483 881750 or email

I am proud of making my contribution to the Hospice as part of the Warehouse Team. We have a lot of fun and I have made some great new friends. I have a real sense of belonging and feel rewarded from my work in many ways.
